Camera Happy

Sometimes I put Addie on the floor, break out the camera and just follow her around snapping pictures. I tend to take tons because I figure the more I take the better my chances are for a few non-blurry pictures. This little hobby of mine has me thinking that taking pictures of a fast-moving baby with a point-and-shoot camera that has a three second delay from click of button to snap of picture is it's own art form.

Some good:

Many bad (this is just a sampling):

With all my camera action Addie has become quite familiar with the routine. Addie's familiarity with our camera has some drawbacks... she is very curious about our little silver box and wants to investigate it, so she often stops what she is doing to come take a look. An example of this is that she has recently started making her "bantling" toy... bantle(?) and this is the best video I've been able to get:

You don't hear any toots because as soon as I even move to get the camera pointed at her (even if it is already out and in my hand) she stops and watches me.

We have three rather pointless videos of Addie holding this toy.

Obviously, I'm not giving up.
