Do you see the markings on the side of our coffee table? This is probably the largest grouping of them... but they occur sporadically around the entire table. All are evidence that Baby now has teeth.
1st reaction (with alarm): 'Oh no! what kind of critter are my children living with?!" 2nd reaction (with levity and relief): "Baby's the critter!!" 3rd reaction (wonder and worry): "is she getting the nutrients she needs, and hopefully not lead-based finishes?" That is a range of reactions. with love
I know... I was a little hesitant of putting this post up because I was afraid some would think I'm a bad/inattentive mom... (I know that's not what you mean). We do keep her from getting at the wood and gnawing away at the finish. Unfortunately she is really fast, and is able to pull her self up and start chewing rather quickly. We've been giving her raw carrots lately, so hopefully that's satiate the urge to gnaw. While she has gotten more of the finish than I would like, it probably isn't really THAT much.
How cute!! Babies can find anything to chew on once they start teething!! So I definently understand!!! She is so cute though and seems to be just all voer the place which is such a fun stage! Congrats on your 200th Post! !It has been fun reading all of your posts and keeping up with you and your beautiful family
Oh, my and HAHAHA! I don't know if I should be laughing or worried for your furniture... laughing is winning ;-)

ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie little chubber hand!
I second the #3 reaction by Mom (specifically regarding the finish be it lead or otherwise).
