We Had a Visitor!

Chris' sister, Kaitlyn, is on her way to a language study abroad program and planned her flights so she could take a slight detour and visit us on the way. She flew into the DC area on Friday and then managed to travel here Friday evening.

We had a really good visit... it was a lot of fun to spend time with her, and I know Chris was especially pleased to visit with his sister. His work schedule caused him to miss most of the Friday-Saturday time with Kaitlyn... and caused him to be even more distracted/anxious about getting home from work! =)
Kaitlyn was really hopeful that Baby Pea would make his/her debut before she arrived, or at least early on in her visit... She even seemed to enjoy/encourage our jokes about pressure points, trampolines, etc. to naturally induce labor... until about noon on Sunday, when she realized Baby Pea's arrival could conflict with Chris driving her back to the airport today! =)

And... just to make you jealous... we have to include a picture of the gift she made for Baby Pea. Although I think it is very cute, I think I most appreciate how it makes me smile/laugh...
