No, I'm not talking about the "magical" age when I was allowed to date. Believe me you, that fact, and what this post is about, are not related. I am sure my parents are very grateful for that simple truth.
This post is really about the fact that every once in a while I glance at Baby Pea's gender-guessing poll. I set it up so that the poll closes on Baby Pea's due date and I use it as something of a count-down for our new arrival.
I just glanced at it today and there are only 16 (did you catch that--sixteen--SIX-teen) days left until Baby Pea is due to arrive. That's just barely more than two weeks.
Of course, the due date doesn't mean too terribly much, as the likelihood of an early or (oh please not) late arrival is very possible. At my last appointment I had graduated to 2 cm.
Apparently, I will be walking during lunch this week... and not napping. ;)
Hey Evelyn,
ReplyDelete2 cm is great. I was at 2 cm with my first baby after 6 hours of hard labor so you are doing great!
I was at 3 cm after 4 1/2 months of latent labor (false labor that doesn't progress, but much more painful than braxton-hicks).
I hope that you don't go late. Both of our children were late and it is no fun. Best of luck!

only 11 days (hopefully) now!
ReplyDelete2 cm is good. Not active labor until 4, though... so they say. ;)
Walking is good. Didn't do a thing for me with either of our previous babies, but it's very good for the endurance of full-on labor!! ^_^
