In recent years, Chris' parents have really improved the quality of their nativity by adding costumes from various regions of the world to their collection. These days they encourage/force invited guests to participate while they take pictures.
Since our family is still very new, our own nativity costume collection is limited (ok, non-existent). But, we wanted to keep the tradition alive in our own family. So, we dressed up Addie. Here's the cutest little shepherd girl you ever did see (and I demand proof from anyone who thinks they've seen cuter!).
Truth be told, she wasn't initially very happy about her costume...
I think your blog is really interesting ... especially this post :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny! Addie is definitley adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful continuation of a good tradition. I looks to me as if you DO have a costume-one, and Addie looks great in it!! I thoroughly enjoyed this blog. thanks, love, mom
ReplyDeleteI forgot one thing....fun. love, mom
ReplyDeleteOhhh, that's GREAT!!! I actually laughed out loud while I was reading it to Jessie. As per Jessie-style, he sad there with a wide grin on his face... which, if you recall, is a comparable to a good giggle from anyone else! ^_^
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that is:) And Addie is so ADORABLE:)
ReplyDeletethat brought back memories!! we did it with Liv this year too...but it didn't exactly go as planned. Liv insisted that she was a Snowman for the Christmas story, so we had to do a little editing (angels and a snowman appeared to the shepherds, that sort of thing). !!!
ReplyDeleteshe is SO adorable, you guys. i want to squeeze her.
ReplyDeletekyle and i acted it out ourselves, no pictures will ever see the light of day though.
