Visits with family are always a bright spot in our day, week, or month. Over Thanksgiving weekend we were able to enjoy a few visits with family (with very few pictures), and we are now getting excited to spend time with family for Christmas.
We first spent time with some of my family down in Virginia Beach on Thanksgiving day. The weather was pretty nice so we took a walk to a park nearby to try and find some pecans for a pregnant girl we know who has been craving nuts lately. ;D
Chris was good at encouraging the nuts to fall from the trees:
And Addie really wanted to join him:
After spending a couple of days in Virginia Beach we drove back up to the DC area and spent some time with Chris' sister Marne` and her family. We took the kids to a farm where they enjoyed looking at all the animals, investigating the farm equipment, and playing at the park.
It was great to see and spend time with family, we sure do love them all!!
It was fun!! Liv loved the picture of Chris in the tree.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Did you get a new camera??
ReplyDeletelove the pics, espec of our li'l girl with the pecan!
ReplyDeleteBecky, unfortunately no new camera. One day... Did you wonder because of the size of the pics? I just picked the extra large feature.

ReplyDeleteChris, I don't know if anyone told you this, but your head fell off in the picture.
Love,
Jess
From Tori:
I rather hope the pregnant girl is still craving pecans cause I have some sweet recipes to make up for ya.... ;) I'm so glad yall had a pleasant holiday and hope this next one will be just as wonderful.
So I just realized that you wrote me back up there. I wonder if you've done that before!? I've never thought to check!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the congrats! We feel so lucky. I've been a toilet hugger but it's been okay; I'm so grateful for it and will do it 100's of more times hoping for a healthy baby! Are you going to get a ultrasound this time or have this one be a surprise too? Have you felt similar to when you had Addie or different? Do you think it will be another girl? Also, what books were the best for you to help you be able to survive a natural birth? If you don't mind shooting me a Facebook email that would be awesome! Thanks!!
Evelyn I found you again! I just read Emily's blog (way to go) and that connected me back here. Good to see your little family is doing so well. Good luck with the pregnancy!
