The Source of "It"

I was preparing dinner when I heard it.  If you are a parent you've probably heard it.  If you aren't a parent you've probably heard about it.  What is it?  Silence that has lasted a smidgen too long.

So I went searching and when I found Addie I laughed.  Long.  Loud.  Hard.  Every time I see these pictures (or even think about them) I can't help but laugh again.  You're invited to join me:

    Now, it appears to me that she is crying in the last one. did that start once she saw you, or after she realized she was stuck?

    She was just beginning to express unhappiness after she realized she couldn't get out on her own =)

    I totally heard about IT before I had Ria, of course. So, whenever that silence stretched, when Ria was my only, I'd hunt for her and what did I find? Invariably she was sitting quietly with a book! NOW, though... HA! ahwell, I suppose she needs to test out the realm of stereotypical behaviors. ;)

    GREAT pictures!!! She's such a doll. How funny that she seems to be crying in the second pic. Mine do that, too... they think it's fun until I don't help them out of it! ^_^
