Visit to Mimi's

I somehow managed to not get too many pictures of our visit to Mimi's, but here are two with Addie:


JJ was anxious to hold Addie, and as soon as Kelsy was given her turn (before JJ) he said, "My turn now..." =)


Uncle Josh was very willing to share his sunglasses with Addie, though I'm not quite sure how she felt about that! =)


I took the long way home to avoid traffic and ended up in smoke instead! As Caroline told the kids earlier, North Carolina is on fire... what looks like fog in this picture is actually smoke.

Check that last picture out again... yep... her u.c. stump is gone--she's so advanced! ;) It fell out today when I was cleaning it. At first I was so scared, thinking I'd done something wrong! =)

Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins

Later Sunday afternoon, Addie was introduced to my brother Josh, his wife Caroline, and their two kids, Kelsy and JJ. It was a fun visit, especially because it is/was a kind of preparation for when their little brother comes (he's due in Oct).

We received a visit from my parents on Sunday, when they were introduced to their newest grandbaby.

Chris wanted to record video with Addie for her Gramma, who is very far away. I think our other family who lives far away may appreciate this too, but all viewers should understand that the funny thing about this video is that Addie is asleep.

She's not doing anything.

And we know it.

What a Sweetie!

We are in love with our little girl! Here are some pictures of her and all her cuteness! These days... that may be the most of what you get... pictures... and they may all be pretty much the same... but to these doting parents, each one deserves a glance =D



Addie had her first appointment with her pediatrician yesterday. When we left the hospital on Thursday she weighed about 7 lbs 2 oz... and yesterday she was 8 lbs 2 oz! She is (obviously) doing very well!!! =)
This seems to be her favorite pose... She will often bring both hands to one side and have both her little fists tucked under her head. =)
